Technically the sacrum is a bony structure located at the lower spine, but this energy center encompasses the entire area from your belly button to your pelvic floor. Emotionally, it is associated with our passion, inspiration, sensuality, and creativity.

Well here we are, it’s Monday. And that means absolutely nothing because we’re in quarantine and all that’s currently scheduled all week is STAYING THE FUCK HOME! Even in my “normal” work reality, Mondays are usually my Fridays, so my case of the Mondays is usually a happy feeling anyway. But here we are, just another day at the start of another week, with nothing on the books. So I thought, why not create something fun to work through this week? Enter my chakra challenge!
I really enjoyed chatting about chakras the other day and was thinking, we have seven open days this week and seven main chakra points in the body. So why not use each day to focus on giving each chakra a little love? Working from the bottom up, let’s use this time to really get to know ourselves on a deeper level and work through any funkiness we find so that we can meet whatever the heck lies ahead standing strong within ourselves.

I’m reporting to you from day 4 of “shelter in place” in the witch cave. My little slice of life has been full of magic and meditation, but I still can’t help but feel like I’m watching the world fall apart in slow motion around me. I’m sure I’m not the only one who feels this way, so today I felt like touching on a way we can keep ourselves together throughout these trying times.
I am a firm believer that our inner reality becomes our outer reality. When you feel strong and balanced as a whole, you are better equipped to manifest harmony and around you. One super effective way to take stock of what’s going on inside you is by using the chakra system. Although chakras have become a super popular subject, I have noticed in many of my conversations about them that a lot of people still find them a bit far-fetched and mysterious. So I figured now would be a perfect time to explain how this ancient system can have relevance to our lives, and how it just might be the key to keeping your shit together right now.
Two solid years without a date isn’t typically regarded as a celebratory occasion. While today’s women aren’t exactly facing the same societal pressures to get married as urgently as in the 1950’s, we haven’t exactly shaken the assumption that being single makes you sad or somehow incomplete. It’s hardly thought of something to be proud of. Until now! I’m here to confidently let you know that taking time to fall deeply in love with yourself is the absolute shit.
